Store a camp stove
Separate the fuel and the equipment before cleaning.
In practice
Let everything cool. Disconnect the fuel canister, inspect the valve and supports, and keep the stove in its own pouch. Follow the fuel supplier’s handling instructions.
After the trip
Disconnect fuel before inspection. Keep the valve seat clean; stop using the stove if a seal is damaged.
